Data approach
Routavio brings different transport sources together under a single route model.
On the rail and public transport side it uses timetable, stop and connection data published in GTFS format by operators or open data sources; on the flight side it uses provider data and cached price signals.
What the prices mean
Flight prices can be estimates, depending on the data source used and on how recent the data is.
Prices on Routavio are there for comparison; the final fare and availability are confirmed by the provider.
